IELTS WRITING TEST.

Sebelum beranjak ke pembahasan inti, perlu di ketahui dulu bahwa dalam IELTS, ada dua jenis test, General test dan Academic test. Hal ini perlu di perhatikan mengingat beberapa sistem dan tipe soalnya berbeda (yang akan dijelaskan lebih lanjut di kemudian hari), nah khususnya di bagian writing ini. 

secara umum, keduanya sama sama memiliki dua bagian, Part 1 dan 2. Part 2 dalam writing IELTS -baik General maupun Academic- keduanya sama, atau tipe soalnya sama. Yang berbeda dari keduanya terdapat di bagian part 1, dimana soal Part 1 pada General test biasanya diperintahkan untuk bagaimana membuat surat, tentu saja dalam hal ini surat resmi seperti surat dalam aktifitas perkantoran, surat perizinan dan sebagainya. Part 1 pada Academic test biasanya berhubungan dengan membuat tulisan dalam bentuk laporan (atau mendiskripsikan) satu data berupa Grafik, Chart (bar or Pie), Table, Cycle of something (animal, plant, Chemistry, and so on) minimal 150 kata.

Dalam part 2 IELTS, kita diperintahkan untuk membuat essay dalam beberapa paragraf (minimal 250 kata) sesuai dengan aturan kepenulisan berupa opini pribadi berdasarkan soal atau studi kasus yang diberikan. Tipe soal dapat berupa Diskusi tentang suatu topik, Untung-Rugi (advantage or disadvantage), setuju tidak setuju (agree or disagree), dan sebagainya.

an increasing number of people are now using dating sites to find their spouses. to what extent do you agree or disagree?

Having someone to spend as a family for the rest of our life is one of a desirable purpose and more people believe that dating sites are quite helpful to achieve this desire. In my opinion, I disagree with this statement as relates to the higher chance of deception such as fake identity and hidden true personality.

First of all, it is common knowledge among people, especially those who are very active in social media that someone can easily fake his or her identity on the internet. Consequently, there will be a bigger chance for us to be fooled by the data of a person in the dating site, including their photos and gender information. For example, a young lady who lived in Europe decided to meet with a person she knew from the dating site, she was very shocked to the core by the fact that this man appearance was completely different from head to toe.

Furthermore, there will be a high possibility for someone we never know to hide his or her true intention and personality even though the background and physical figures information written in the dating site is true as it looks in real life. Thus, good people can be simply deceived by this faker and by that, it can lead to a dangerous situation. This can be seen in the tragic news I ever watch on tv about a woman who is abused and hospitalized by her over-protective boyfriend just because of a small miss-communication between them. Further research by the police reveals the fact that they met each other from a dating site.

In conclusion, it will be better to find our true love with someone we know better in order to prevent any dangerous situation such as fake background and personality.

yah, jelas masih banyak yang harus di perbaiki.. mari kita lihat beberapa minggu kedepan bagaimana perkembangannya.. hahahaha...
